Midweek matches in the Premier League don’t happen all that often, but that’s what we’re looking at ahead of Matchday 14. We have some huge ties in store, but what should we bet on? Let’s crack on and discover our latest EPL betting tips.

Things are a little unusual in the Premier League this week, as we have midweek matches coming hot on the heels of Matchday 13. The action gets underway with Norwich’s trip to Newcastle on Tuesday, followed by Leeds against Palace later that evening.

On Wednesday, we have six more fixtures, the highlight of which is undoubtedly the Merseyside derby, as free scoring Liverpool travel to Goodison Park. Then on Thursday we have an all-London affair, with Spurs hosting the Bees, followed by a tasty looking encounter between Manchester United and Arsenal.

Odds and Predictions

The first of our Premier League betting tips for game week 14 features Leeds, who entertain Crystal Palace. Marcelo Biesla’s team are currently marked up at odds of 2.45 with Unibet and that looks overpriced to us. Here’s why.

Leeds have only won one of their last six EPL ties, but there’s a strong argument to suggest they’re not getting their just rewards. Their season xG (Expected Goals) of 15.53 has returned just 12 goals. If they keep creating those chances, things will surely start to click in time. Looking purely at their last four home matches, they are averaging a healthy xG of 1.61.

Crystal Palace are not exactly in poor form of late, but they are terrible defensively. With an xG Against figure of just 12.76 this term, the Eagles have somehow managed to leak 19 goals already. This could be the chance that Leeds need to start hitting the back of the net and their price to win looks too big.

Verdict: Leeds to win at @ 2.45 (10Bet)

Last week, betting on Both Teams To Score – No for a Wolves fixture proved a winning strategy. We see no reason to change that for round 14 of the 2021/22 EPL, after a 0-0 draw with Norwich. Despite sitting in sixth position, they’ve only scored 12 goals from their 13 league games and hitting the onion bag has proven tricky this campaign.

Looking at their opponents Burnley, on the face of it they seem to have hit a run of form. Unbeaten in four, with a solid point away to Chelsea and a return of seven goals in this little sequence. But they have greatly outperformed their xG on that streak and they still remain in the bottom three, a win away from safety.

Both sides have notched in just 31% of Wolves matches this season, while the Premier League average so far is 48%. Assuming that Burnley’s goalscoring antics regress to the mean, the best price of 1.86 (10Bet) about Both Teams To Score – No could be a shade of value.

Verdict: Both Teams To Score – No @ 1.86 (10Bet)
