It was another round of high scores and surprises last time out in the 2021/22 Premier League. Watford’s 4-1 demolition of Manchester United led to the departure of their manager. Liverpool also put 4 past Arsenal, while two different matches ended 3-3. But will this weekend’s action result in as many goals? And more importantly, where is the value ahead of matchday 13? Read on, to discover our latest Premier League betting tips.

As ever, there are some tasty looking fixtures in store this upcoming EPL weekend. The highlight is surely Manchester United’s visit to league leaders Chelsea. Will the departure of Ole Gunnar Solskjær lead to improved performances? Only time will tell, but this is not an easy start for Michael Carrick.

Elsewhere, two of the top four go head to head, as Manchester City entertain West Ham. Arsenal kick the weekend off by hosting bottom side Newcastle, while Norwich play host to sixth-placed Wolves. And it’s this fixture with which we kick off this week’s Premier League betting tips.

Odds and Predictions

Wolves started the season very slowly, but it looks like things are finally clicking into gear. They currently lie in sixth position, having won five of their last seven matches. But despite this run, there are still some question marks against their attack.

With a season xG figure of 16.61, you have to wonder why they have only notched 12 goals this season. Their hosts Norwich are not much better in this area, either. The Canaries have far and away the worst xG numbers in the 2021/22 Premier League season so far, with just 9.32. But what’s more, they are also underperforming against that figure, scoring just seven goals all term.

With two distinctly unimpressive attacking line ups, Both Teams To Score – No seems like a promising bet. And BetVictor’s odds of 1.93 about such an outcome seem extremely big to us.

Verdict: Both Teams To Score – No @ 1.93 (BetVictor)

After an impressive start to the 2021/22 Premier League campaign, Brighton’s momentum has really come to a crashing halt. The Seagulls are currently on a run of seven games without a win. But they have a great chance to get back on track this weekend, as they play host to a struggling Leeds side.

More importantly though, from a betting perspective at least, they don’t score very often. In fact, of all the top 10 sides this EPL season, only Spurs have scored fewer than Brighton’s tally of 12. And that is an underperformance compared to their season’s xG figure of 13.56.

Leeds on the other hand don’t do too badly in that area. But on the road, they have only managed six goals from their six matches. It feels to us as though this could be a low-scoring affair. And the best price of 1.95 (BetVictor) about Under 2.5 Goals looks positively huge.

Verdict: Total Goals 2.5 – Under @ 1.95 (BetVictor)
