There was very little break between Matchday 22 and 23 and not much time to get your bets in, but you do still have the opportunity to do so if you move quick.

Hopefully, this page will enable you to know the best options available to you so you spend less time thinking and more time betting. Let’s check out the top picks from these mid-week fixtures.

Chelsea v Arsenal

Chelsea threw away a game where they were dominating for the best part of 90 minutes at the weekend as their failure to capitalize continues and they continue to drop points in games they should be winning.

Chelsea have now won just 2 of their last 5 Premier League games. The good news for them is they are facing one of the teams they did beat, Arsenal, in this fixture.

With a home advantage this time around and their opponents continuing to look uninspiring they are looking in good stead to bounce back.  The Gunners are now just 1 game away from drawing exactly half their games this season, while their wins and losses are equal.

As such, Arsenal’s season has been about as mediocre as they come and in this tough match-up, it will be hard to see them coming out on top. Betfair are offering 3/4 on a Chelsea win, 18/5 on Arsenal, and 29/10 on a draw.

Sheffield United v Manchester City

Sheffield is having an impressive season so far and are still very much in the running for the Europa League spots, if not even the Champion’s League. They will have their work cut-out in this next match though against current title holders, Manchester City.

Fortunately for Sheffield, this City team is not as convincing as previous years and after beating Aston Villa 6-1 they then dropped points to Palace at the weekend.

However, let’s not forget that these two met in their last match of 2019, and Manchester City came away with a comfortable 2-0 win.
As surprising as both these teams’ seasons have been, you would expect City to capitalise here again.

Many are offering a respectable 7 to 1 on a Sheffield Win though, while a draw is being offered by a lot at slightly lower odds of 4/1. Manchester City though are being given even 4/11, such as PaddyPower, or 2/5, such as Betfair.

Leicester V West Ham

Leicester seem to be throwing this season away recently and have lost 3 in 5, most recently against Burnley and Southampton who they beat 9-0 earlier this season.

Their opponents this week, West Ham, are of a similar calibre but their form over their last 5 performance is only slightly worse than their own on paper.

Leicester should still win here and realistically need to if they are going to get their season back on track as they have a few tough fixtures on the horizon. William Hill are offering 8/15 on Leicester, 17/5 on a draw, and 24/5 on the Londoners.
