With less than two weeks remaining before the chequered flag is raised, the Singapore F1 Grand Prix is capturing hearts, conversations and imaginations as it promises to be one of the most entertaining and competitive F1 events this season. The Marina Bay Street Circuit can be a tricky one as we have witnessed before. A sudden lapse in concentration and too much aggression could send the favourites flying.

Maximum Entertainment

Stepping away from the race for a moment, the three-day event promises to be a spectacular one as a hot line up of performers and celebrity chefs take the centre stage. The Swedish House Mafia, Gwen Stefani, Hans Zimmer, Fatboy Slim, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Lighthouse Family are just some of the names you can expect to experience. Three-Michelin star chef Heston Blumenthal is also making his debut at the Formula 1 Paddock Club meaning your taste buds will experience the same level of joy as your eyes and ears.

With a solid line up of racers, artists and chefs in the offing, booking the tickets is just a matter of budget. From a racing point of view, Mercedes has a season to lose as they are 30 points clear of the second-place Ferrari. Sebastian Vettel will have to be at his absolute best to eat away at the deficit and cannot put a foot wrong. But Lewis Hamilton is also in good form and could put up as good a fight as he always does.

Max Verstappen is one of the most promising F1 talents but his aggressive nature could create problems in the tricky Marina Bay Street Circuit. Valtteri Bottas is most likely to play support for Hamilton again and take away any chances of a Ferrari win.

Odds to Support

As far as the Drivers’ Championship is concerned, Lewis Hamilton is the crowd and bettor favourite enjoying odds of 1/100 on Bet365, Betfair and Betway. Bottas, Verstappen and Leclerc are also in the race with average odds of 33/1, 100/1 and 100/1 respectively. William Hill is offering a 200/1 odd on Leclerc so if he can stage an upset there could be solid winnings. You can also bet on whether Lewis Hamilton will end the Drivers’ Championship with more than 100 points or not at odds of 6/1.

For the Constructors Championship, the season is not over yet as many teams vying for the top spot. Mercedes is currently in the lead with 20/1 odds for Ferrari offered by Betfair exchange. Red Bull is far behind with 104/1 odds of winning it. The other sports are filled up by the likes of McLaren, Renault, Alfa Romeo and Haas.

Whether you want to stake some money off these high stakes or not, make sure you do not miss any of the action-packed performance from this year’s Singapore F1 Grand Prix. So be ready on 22nd September at 1:00 PM local time and prepare to be enthralled.
