The Bundesliga matches are coming thick and fast now with some huge midweek fixtures lined up. It’s business as usual for the top teams but the top-tier German league could look a lot different before the weekend’s fixtures get underway.

2020 bundesliga 26-27 may fixtures schedule

Tuesday evening gives us the one match that all Bundesliga fans and neutrals across the world look forward to, which is none other than Bayern Munich vs Borussia Dortmund. The stakes are huge and both teams will be desperate to take all three points.

Elsewhere, the likes of Leverkusen, Monchengladbach, and Leipzig will all be keeping tabs on that top of the table clash, ready to pounce on any mistake made by either team.

The margins are so small at the top of the league and the loss of three points by anyone is going to be extremely costly. For all the bettors out there, we’ve taken a look at the best of the midweek games and picked out the most profitable predictions from the top tipsters.

What are the tipsters predicting?

Borussia Dortmund vs Bayern Munich

The one game that needs no introduction. The stakes are so high here that a win for both teams is vital. Neither side will want to settle for anything less and the game becomes even more important when they look behind and see those three teams waiting to pounce on any mistakes.

There is an abundance of attacking talent in both teams and so you can only ever expect goals in this fixture.

Bayern looks like the slight favourite as they are coming into the match with six wins on the bounce, but compared to five out of six wins for Dortmund, there really isn’t much in it. It could all come down to defensive tactics and the level of concentration without the backing of the fans.

Bayer Leverkusen vs Wolfsburg

Wolfsburg are a team that no one enjoys playing against and while they might be well out of the title race, they still pose a threat to those above them.

Leverkusen hosts the Wolves on Tuesday evening and one thing is for sure, it will not be an easy walk in the park. The positive for the home side is that midfielder Kai Havertz is on form and amongst the goals and he’ll be the man to push them on to three points. Backing plenty of goals looks to be the value bet here with Bayer taking all three points.

RB Leipzig vs Hertha Berlin

A lot of people had RB Leipzig down as a possible contender for the title not so long ago, but they have walked away with too many draws over the last handful of games.

You can’t deny their attacking skills though and with the third-best goal scoring rate in the league, it should prove too much for the traveling team from Berlin.

The home team seem to be back on form after the weekend’s 5-0 thumping of Mainz, though. We think Leipzig will have to fight for these points though and we can see Hertha Berlin piling on the pressure with at least one goal in the game.
