Holdem Indicator
Whether you play your poker live or online, you know that identifying players’ tendencies is invaluable. If there was a way in which you could track the percentage of hands a specific player enters, how frequently he raises and how often he goes all the way to the river, wouldn't that give you the edge? Well, we cannot do it live for you, but if you are a regular online player, you should try out the poker odds calculator available from HoldemIndicator.com

Poker Patter 1
The language of the poker table can be thoroughly confusing. Full of jumbled jargon and vexing verbs, poker terms can leave a newcomer feeling flummoxed. Ridiculous nicknames for hands and strange, technical terminology can leave a beginner baffled. If you’re dipping your toe into the poker pond for the first time, cast a glance at our series on “Poker Patter”, the first of which covers some of the more basic, but still vitally important, poker terminology.

Moving From Live to Online Poker
If you’re looking to make the switch from live to internet poker, be sure to realise there are some major differences between the two. You might be a winning poker player at your local casino, but dipping your toe into the online poker waters for the first time requires adjustment.

Live Poker Tells
A key to winning at live poker in the long term is observation. It is very important to watch your opponents at the poker table and react accordingly. Do they have noticeable betting patterns? Are they chasing losses or on tilt?

Basic Omaha Eight Or Better Strategy
If you are looking to beat Omaha Eight or Better (also known as Omaha High-Low Split) at low stakes, there are several important points to consider.

From Online To Live Poker
Thanks to online poker, it is not unusual to encounter players at your local card room or casino that have never played in a live poker tournament before. Many players learn the basics on the internet before dipping their toe into the murky waters of the bricks and mortar casino and they will find live poker more intimidating than the online equivalent.
