The Wolves v Blackburn clash sees two teams go head to head with new managers in charge. While Dean Saunders has been officially appointed for the hosts, Gary Bowyer is only a caretaker manager and looks set to hand over the reins at Rovers very shortly – will any of the changes have an impact?

Neither of these two teams have mounted a serious challenge at promotion, and bouncing back into the Premier League at the first attempt now looks a long shot – hence the drastic action taken by both sets of owners. Blackburn turned to Gary Bowyer to take temporary charge after sacking Henning Berg, and he started well, winning both League games he has presided over. The imminent appointment of Michael Appleton means further changes are on the cards at Rovers – but they do have a sound away record, and have only lost three of thirteen road games. Wolves have turned to Dean Saunders after some poor home results under Stale Solbakken. The Midlands club have retained plenty of quality from their Premier League squad, but struggle for goals. Given the transitional spells at both clubs, backing the draw appeals, particularly once this season’s trends are examined. Wolves have drawn four of five home games versus sides in mid-table (9th to 16th), Blackburn sit 13th. Similarly, Rovers have drawn seven of eight away games against opponents between 8th and 19th. Add in the trend for tight games at Molineux and you have a bet that offers some value.
