The Ultimate Fighting Championships comes to the United Kingdom this weekend as it hosts UFC Fight Night 30 in Manchester, bringing with it an exciting card full of some of the top fighters from the UK taking on some international stars. The main event was due to see the top British fighter Michael Bisping face off against Mark Munoz but an eye injury forced him from the bout and Munoz now takes on Lyoto Machida. Machida is a heavy favourite in that fight and we look elsewhere on the card for our free UFC betting tips, with the best selection seeing us back a Brit to get his win on points at a price of 9/2 with BetVictor.

The co-main event of UFC Fight Night 30 sees British lightweight Ross “The Real Deal” Pearson take on the experienced Melvin “The Young Assassin” Guillard in what looks to be an exciting fight with both fighters needing the win to keep themselves relevant in the division.

Guillard enjoys slight favouritism over Pearson but it is with the British fighter we have chosen to side. Guillard is an explosive fighter who looks to blast opponents out early but the belief is that Pearson’s solid defensive skills will see him withstand Guillard’s early blast and from there work his way into the fight before taking control over the tiring American.

The majority of Guillard’s career losses have came via submission (9 of 12) but Pearson isn’t particularly known as a submission fighter and he will look to use his strikes to overcome Guillard. Whilst Pearson may grab a late stoppage win if Guillard tires badly it seems more likely that he will outscore him on his way to a decision victory and he should be backed to do so at 9/2 with BetVictor.

The Brad Scott versus Michael Kuiper fight is the very first fight of the evening and whilst the Dutchman, Kuiper, probably deserves to be the favourite in the fight it is clear that Scott is being sorely undervalued by the bookmakers.

Brad Scott lost out in the final of The Ultimate Fighter but looked impressive on the show with his aggressive style which always pleases the judges. This should be a close fight but ultimately Scott has the tools to outwork Kuiper and certainly shouldn’t be the 23/10 chance that he is with SkyBet.

The 5/1 that he wins by decision available at BetVictor is also very appealling.

The next of our free UFC betting tips sees us back another Brit to win on points, this time the Northern Irishman, Norman Parke who has won 3 of his last 4 by decision after a big step up in class recently.

Parke is a big favourite in the fight but the 6/4 from SkyBet that he wins on points looks to be the better bet, with the 23/10 on offer from Ladbrokes on a unanimous decision also looking interesting.

Finally, we touch on the ‘Fight of the Night’ market and whilst there are no Melendez vs. Sanchez giveaways this week we look to the co-main event between Pearson and Guillard. Only priced up in 3 places, 2 bookmakers have it priced at 7/4 and 15/8 but Ladbrokes have opened at 7/2. It’s not the best bet you’ll ever place but certainly worth a small stakes interest.
