The Ultimate Fighting Championships continue their run of events with one of their most impressive cards of fights for a number of months with UFC 167 headlined by a welterweight title fight between the champion Georges St. Pierre and the dangerous challenger Johny Hendricks. We will touch on that fight below but we’ve a number of free UFC betting tips, including a 7/2 ‘Fight of the Night’ selection with Ladbrokes in a market we’ve done well in before.

All the talk in the main event has been about whether GSP can avoid the immense power punches of Johny Hendricks and I believe he can. St. Pierre is the best welterweight in the world and has been tremendously dominant in the division, having not lost since 2007.

GSP gameplans impeccably but has found the wrath of the fans recently due to his lack of finishes. I don’t think GSP will take any of the fans’ opinions on board and he should be able to avoid Hendricks’ power early before claiming his 7th straight decision win.

George St. Pierre is available to back at 8/11 to win by decision with Coral whilst the braver people amongst us may prefer the 10/11 with Ladbrokes about the victory being by unanimous decision.

The main event could top of a main card filled with decisions with Rashad Evans vs. Chael Sonnen, Rory MacDonald vs. Robbie Lawler, and Josh Koscheck vs. Tyron Woodley all looking more than likely to require the judges’ help to determine the winner.

In my opinion, the first named fighter in all three above fights are the most likely decision winners: Evans (6/4 William Hill), MacDonald (7/4 BoyleSports), and Koscheck (9/4 BetVictor).

The best of those UFC betting tips is the 9/4 available about Josh Koscheck winning by decision with BetVictor, with the belief that Tyron Woodley is being over-rated in the betting. In fact, Koscheck is also value at 11/10 in the outrights.

In the ‘Fight of the Night’ market none of the main card fights stand out as exciting stylistic match-ups so we turn to the headlining fight on the undercard between Donald Cerrone and Evan Dunham. Both men are exciting fighters with high output of strikes and with both showing a recent tendency to go the distance we should be set for an enthralling three rounds.

Ladbrokes offer a best price 7/2 about Cerrone vs. Dunham being the ‘Fight of the Night’.

Elsewhere we like two underdogs, with Ali Bagautinov (6/4 bet365) being favoured over Tim Elliot whilst Sergio Pettis looks woefully short against Will Campuzano (7/2 bet365), possibly due the family name with his brother the UFC lightweight champion.
