Match Odds Betting Preview
Tottenham have six wins from eleven at White Hart Lane, but they have only played two of the top seven at home – and failed to win on either occasion. They are however, unbeaten in the last six, and have only lost one of the last ten. They also have the confidence of knowing they were able to defeat Manchester United at Old Trafford back in September.
United boast some fantastic form. They have lost just one of sixteen, and won fourteen of them. Many observers thought their defensive frailties would catch up with them eventually, but it has not happened yet, and their firepower has been sufficient to keep racking up wins – including eight of the last nine on the road.
Goals are expected in this one. The renewal at Old Trafford finished 2-3 and the open, attacking nature of both sides hints at a high scoring contest. The best price on Over 2.5 goals is currently 1.72 with Pinnacle.
Scoring markets are dominated by the prolific Robin van Persie. He is 2.16 to Score anytime with Betfair. The same firm are also best price on Wayne Rooney (2.95) and Hernandez (3.25 ). For Spurs, Jermain Defoe is 3.25 with Stan James. At the higher end of the market, Jan Vertonghen is a threat at set pieces, and is available at 9.5 with Paddy Power. Likewise, Patrice Evra has already claimed a couple of goals this term, and is 15.0 to get another tomorrow with Totesport.
Both Teams to Score is a best price 1.55 at BetVictor and might be another popular bet despite the tiny odds.
