The Los Angeles Rams and New England Patriots meet on Sunday in the Superbowl in Atlanta
The Patriots have been installed as three point favourites in a game with a total point line of 57.
Having won the AFC Championship this past Sunday, the Patriots have now made 4 out of the last 5 Super Bowls. However, they’ve only won two of the past 3. This time around it’s safe to say that Brady and Belichick will have an even bigger drive than in previous years, accounting for their recent Super Bowl loss at the hands of the Eagles. Seeing as how the Pats are 3-0 in their last 3 meetings against the Rams, it stands to reason that they’ll have a bit of an edge over LA. With huge big game experience, peerless game planning and a run game behind a dominant offensive line the Patriots are understandably favourites.
The Rams fell behind in the NFC Championship Game against the Saints. However the team showed incredible resilience by bouncing back despite that early adversity. Although a missed call late in the game ultimately affected the outcome, there’s no denying that LA delivered a hard fought performance. Granted Gurley hasn’t been that great as of late but he’s still undeniable one of the best and most versatile backs in the NFL. Most importantly, he hasn’t turned the ball over much this season. That will be invaluable in this 2019 Super Bowl matchup.
