Taking place this weekend, the FA Cup Quarter Finals
Swansea City v Tottenham
Swansea are on a fine run since the arrival of Carvahal, that has seen them climb out of the bottom three with 11 points from their last six league games and only one loss. Spurs will go into the game without Kane which willmean Llorente will face his old side. I think this will be close and wouldn’t be surprised at all to see extra time. The 90 minute draw can be backed at 18/5 with BetVictor
Manchester United v Brighton
United are of course prohibitive favourites to advance here but they are unlikely to put doughty opponents like Brighton to the sword. Firstly United aren’t that swashbuckling and secondly Brighton are dogged defensively. An intersting bet here looks to be Brighton +2 at 5/6 on the straight handicap, an option on the visitors keeping the game close
Wigan v Southampton
After knocking out Manchester Cty in the fifth oun its another Premier League oppoent for the league one promotion chasers.
Wigan are extremely tough at home and in the latest seven games they have kept clean sheets six times, and all the matches saw both teams not to score and under 2.5 goals. They have only lost two matches at home all season 10-6-2 and only conceded 9 goals in 18 matches
Southampton have one win in 17 matches and have sacked Pellegrino ahead of the game and whether that produces a response remains to be seen. They have 13 goals in 14 league away games and 29 in 30 overall and have drawn 13 league games.
This looks like a low scorer, possibly one goalin the match and the draw at 12/5 draw with bet365 looks appealing
Leicester City v Chelsea
Leicester ended a run of draws by comfortably winning at West Brom and are likely to be returning to counter attacking tactics here against visitors who are likely to have a lot of possession. Whilst Chelsea have had their ups and downs this season on and off the pitch this is their best chance of silverware this season (writing before the Barcelona game) and the 23/20 offered by BetVictor on the 90 minute away win should be taken
