Nine successful cricket recommendations last week on Betpal with a 75% strike rate and this week sees more T20 Group games beginning on Tuesday with three encounters.

Derbyshire to hit more Sixes than Nottinghamshire 12/5  Paddy Power

The games on Tuesday are as follows:
Leicestershire v Lancashire
Nottinghamshire v Derbyshire
Glamorgan v Worcestershire
The game at Trent Bridge is live on Sky Sports

In the North Group, in which two of these games are played, Notts are top ahead of Lancashire and both would be expected to reach the Quarter finals from their current positions.

Notts are short odds-on to beat their opponents on Tuesday and once again, T20 is not a format where I am interested in backing short odds-on shots. Instead there is an opportunity to be contrarian, in the market for which team will hit the most sixes. Derbyshire are a big hitting side. Whilst this does not always come off, in the likes of Chesney Hughes and Wayne Marsden this is a market Derbyshire can win even if they do not have the ability to win the match too often. At 12/5 Paddy Power this is a speculative investment

At Leicester a solid Lancashire team should be expected to beat Leicestershire at 8/13, but no bet at that price, not least because with the likes of Josh Cobb, one of the most talented young hitters in the country, Leicestershire are capable of throwing in a big performance on their usual excellent batting wickets at Grace Road.

In the Midlands Group Glamorgan host Worcestershire in a very competitive group where, Northants apart, the teams are struggling for consistency and qualification is wide open. Glamorgan had a disappointing weekend losing to both Somerset and Gloucestershire but that came off the back of a tough week in the field at Old Trafford against Lancashire. With a rest, and back in Cardiff after a ten day road trip of five away games across four day and one day competitions this is a game they should win and need to win against a Worceshire side that is bottom of the table. Sadly at 4/7 generally they are priced to do so
