Fixtures this weekend as follows, and prices from Bet365

Friday 3rd May
Crusaders v Sharks 08.35am BST

The Crusaders came off their bye week to beat the Lions 36-10 last weekend and remain the notional top seed for the play offs with an 8-1-1 win-draw-loss record. Meanwhile the sharks won at the Waratahs 23-15 to go back to a 50% win record and also back to the top of South African conference.
The Crusaders are priced as 22 point favourites at 10/11 on point spreads which if anything underestimates the Crusaders superiority over the South African sides.

Reds v Sunwolves 10.45am BST

The Reds come off a bye week with a 4-5 record whilst the Sunwolves were heavily beaten at home to the Highlanders last weekend 52-0. In their last season in Super Rugby the Sunwolves have won two of their ten games to date. The Reds should comfortable cover -9 at 10/11

Saturday 4th May
Hurricanes v Rebels 6.15am BST

The Hurricanes beat the Chiefs 47-19 last weekend and have a 7-1-2 win-draw-loss record, and are 2nd in the New Zealand conference.
The Rebels come off a bye and are top of the Australian conference after others teams failed to make the most of their opportunities last weekend. They have a 5-4 record and I like them to cover +13 at 10/11 on the handicap.

Highlanders v Chiefs 08.35am BST

The two teams at the bottom of the New Zealand conference meet here. The Highlanders went to Japan last weekend and beat the Sunwolves 52-0 for their fourth win of the season.
The Chiefs lost in Wellington to the Hurricanes 47-19 and with only three wins this year are bottom of the conference.
The Highlanders should cover -9 at 10/11

Brumbies v Blues 10.45am BST

The Brumbies lost at the Jaguares 20-15 last weekend and only have a 4-6 record so far this season. The Blues are off a bye week with a 4-5 record and I expect them to cover -2 points at 10/11

Bulls v Waratahs 2.05pm BST

The Bulls lost 24-23 at the Stormers in Cape Town last weekend and have a 5-4 record. The Waratahs lost 23-15 at home to the Sharks and have a 4-5 record. Two inconsistent teams then and the host Bulls are priced up at 6 point favourites at 10/11 on the handicap, a spread I think they will cover.

Jaguares v Stormers 8.40pm BST

The Jaguares beat the Brumbies 20-15 to go to a 5-4 season record whilst the Stormers beat the Bulls 24-23 at home to go to 5-5. The Jaguares are a difficult proposition for teams visiting Argentina and the home team can be backed -2 at 10/11 on the point spread.
