Fixtures this weekend as follows

Friday 19th April
Chiefs v Lions 08.35am BST

The Chiefs won a close one against the Blues last weekend 33-29 for their second win of the season whilst it is now two defeats in a row for the Lions as they lost 31-20 to the Brumbies. They have now won four matches out of eight so far this season
It might be a bit early to say the Chiefs are improving but against an inconsistent Lions team they should cover -7 at 10/11 with SkyBet.
Sunwolves v Hurricanes 11.00am BST

The Sunwolves come off a bye week with a 2-6 record, to face the side second in the New Zealand conference the Hurricanes who are also off a bye with a 5-1-2 record. In their last season in Super rugby the Sunwolves have had two notable wins but expecting that against one of the top few sides in the competition and the Hurricanes can be expected to cover -17 at 10/11 also with SkyBet.

Sharks v Reds 2.05pm BST

The Sharks suffered a surprising defeat 51-17 at home to the Jaguares, failing to consolidate their place at the top of the South African conference. They now have a 4-4 win/loss record.
The Reds lost 32-17 at the Bulls last weekend ending their run of three successive wins, and now have a 3-5 record
The Sharks are installed as 12 point favourites here which looks quite optimisitic on the evidence of last weekend. I will take a chance on the Reds +12 at 10/11. After all they only lost by 15 at altitude last week

Saturday 20th April
Highlanders v Blues 8.35am BST

The Highlanders lost 43-17 at the Crusaders last weekend and have only 2 wins in 8 games so far this season, and are 4th of 5 teams in the New Zealand Conference.
The Blues lost 33-29 at the Chiefs and have a 4-3 record. I think they are capable of winning here and they can be backed +2 points at 10/11

Waratahs v Rebels 10.45am BST

The Waratahs come off a bye week with a 3-5 record to host the Rebels who lost at home 41-24 to the Stormers in round 9 in the latest surprise result of the season. The Rebels are Top of the conference with a 5-3 record and can be backed at Evens to win this “pick em” game to consolidate their table topping position.

Stormers v Brumbies 2.05PM BST

The Stormers travelled to Melbourne last week and beat Rebels 41-24 for their fourth win of the season in eight games and now host the Brumbies who won 31-20 against the Lions for their third win of the season. Two inconsistent sides but the Stormers look a reasonable prospect -8 at 10/11 with SkyBet
