League One is building up to what looks like being an enthralling run in. No less than six teams are at single figure odds for the title, and the promotion race is even tighter. Sheffield United and Coventry both still have high hopes for Championship football next season and they meet on Friday night at Bramall Lane.
Match: Sheffield United v Coventry
Betting tip: Draw
Best Odds: 3.55 with Pinnacle
Kick Off: 19:45 01/02/2013 (GMT)
Sheffield United have endured a small wobble of late, going four without a win, including home defeats to Yeovil and surprisingly, bottom club Hartlepool. The Blades are not as free scoring as the home faithful might like, and they have been held to draws in twelve of their twenty-eight fixtures this term. Home and away, versus top 10 sides, they have drawn seven of twelve games, and the Sky Blues might well pick up a point at Bramall Lane too. The reverse fixture ended 1-1 and it would not be a shock to see the same result. Coventry have been in good nick for a couple of months, but they are still coming to terms with losing top scorer McGoldrick. They continue to grind out results but a tight encounter looks likely. United have seen games finish with fewer than three goals in 71% of their matches, and the visitors would be reasonably content with a low scoring draw against a team who remain single figure odds to top the table in May, despite their current blip.
