Stoke City to beat Chelsea 31/10

Newcastle to beat Bournemouth 12/5

Swansea to beat Norwich 2/1

Stoke City v Chelsea

Both these sides come into the game in the bottom 8, with Chelsea in particular suffering dramatic underperformance so far this season and Mourinho under continual pressure. With key players such as Hazard and Costa in poor form, and the defence not as impregnable as it was, and rumours of off the field dysfunction at the club a trip to Stoke is a tough task.

Stoke’s form has picked up after a poor start, though still really waiting for their summer signings of flair players such as Shaqiri and Affelay to really fire and complete the process, ongoing for a couple of years now of transforming their style from Pulis to Hughes. Despite Chelsea’s frailties though the home side here are over 3-1 underdogs (31/10 BetVictor) for the game. This has to be an interesting price in these circumstances

Bournemouth v Newcastle United

Having suffered several major injuries since the start of the season, notably to major goalscorer Calum Wilson out for the season, Bournemouth have slipped to the edge of the relegation places despite some encouraging early season results.  They have lost five of their last six games, and goal-scoring has become a problem.

So far the only stabilisation in Newcastle’s form has been in home results but against a struggling opponent this is a great chance to leap-frog them and get out of the bottom three. They are an interesting price too. Bournemouth are 6/5 favourites for the game, which looks very short. Newcastle 12/5 with BetVictor.

Norwich City v Swansea City

Norwich are another struggling promoted side, with four losses in their last five league games that has seen them slip towards the bottom three conceding two goals a game on average and now 23 goals for the season the perennial problem of rpromoted sides that the step up from the Championship to the top division is a tough adjustment at the back.

Swansea are not in the best forthemselves, with one win in their last six games, inconsistency coinciding with a drop off in form from Gomis their major goal scorer. I do think they are a big price to return to form here though at 2/1 with BetVictor. Shelvey’s prompting and Montero’s pace make them a dangerous side on the counter for games like this.
