Another unpredictable set of results in midweek leaves battles for the title and top foru finishes wide open. This weekend sees one of the biggest North London derbies for many years….

Recommendations (all BetVictor)

Tottenham  to beat Arsenal 29/20

Swansea to beat Norwich Evens

West Ham to beat Everton 19/5

Tottenham v Arsenal

Both sides slipped up in midweek though Spurs will probably be the happier of the two sides, getting a difficult game out of the way and losing little to no ground to their main rivals for the title whilst Arsenal lost at home to a bottom six side.

Saturday lunnchtime sees this big game, with the winners likely to go back favourites for the title. The pressure is really on Arsenal though, with three league wins since Christmas and now without Cech and Koscielny for this game too. At the other end goal-scoring has become a problem and they meet the tightest defence in the league.

I would expect Spurs to bounce back here, but am not sure Arsenal will. Spurs at 29/20 with BetVictor is a bet.

Swansea City v Norwich City

With their win at Arsenal, Swansea put some daylight betweent hemseleves and the relegation zone, now on 30 points and six points clear of the bottom three. Form has picked up since the appointment of Guidolin and they are probably no more than 2 weins in their last ten games away from safety.

A great chance for one of those wins comes on Saturday with the visit of Norwich, now in the bottom three and desperate for a win having taken one point from mtheir last eight league games. Norwich’s problem persists, their defence is not solid enough and they have conceded 24 goals in those eight games. At Leicester last weekend they played more conservatively and defended deeper but didn’t create much. They might have to come out more here needing wins and points badly, and will be exposed.

Swansea are evens to win with BetVictor

Everton v West Ham

At a best price of 19/5 with BetVictor West Ham are an interesing value play to continue their form by winning away this weekend and follow up the excellent win against Tottenham. Now sixth, with the flair of Payet allied to the form of Antonio and Emenike West Ham have a chance of finishing even higher given the inconsistencies of the other challengers and they have only conceded three goals in their last five league games.

Everton won comfortably at Villa but are not as consistent as West Ham, reflected in their position of 11th in the league yet they appear as 4/5 outright market favourites for this game. West Ham at 19/5 is the clear value.
