Into the last two months of the season with Liverpool and Manchester City in a close fight for the title
Watford v Leicester City
Watford have only lost once in their last five league matches conceding 3 goals along the way and are up to seventh in the table but their task here got tougher with the visitors replacement of Puel by Brendan Rodgers. Leicester are a talented set of players, adjusting to a new style but didn’t appear to be particularly motivated by Puel and that change can lead to a change in form very quickly. I wouldn’t be surprised to see Rodgers return to counter attacking tactics away from home as Leicester have a lot of pace.
Here the draw is 27/11 which i think is decent value with BetVictor
Brighton v Huddersfield
Brighton really should have got something out of Tuesday’s game at Leicester, woeful finishing denied them a point. Brighton only have one point in their last five Premier League matches as form has tailed away. This should be their chance to get back to winning ways. Huddersfield beat Wolves with a late, late goal on Tuesday night but have only won three games all season scoring only 15 goals in 28 games. Brighton at 5/6 with BetVictor looks a very solid bet.
West Ham United v Newcastle United
West Ham have only one win in their last five league games as their strong form either side of Christmas has dipped. Newcastle have climbed the table with four wins and a draw in their last six matches and are a very tempting 3/1 here for the away win. Benitez is extremely proficient at setting up his team to be solid away from homew and now the team has more confident with a record signing in the ranks up top they can nick a narrow win at big odds
