Into the third weekend of the season. No surprise to see Manchester United top perhaps, but the two other teams with 100% records are Huddersfieldand West Bromwich Abion. Difficult early season ties for bettors…

Chelsea v Everton

Chelsea recovered fromtheir home opening day loss to Brnley with a win at Wembley against Tottenham with an Alonso double. Conte switched tactics, playing Luiz in a defensive midfield trio to counter the hosts strengths in the air and they produced a gutsy performance despite being under pressure and then benefitting from a late goalkeeping mistake.

Back to Stamford Bridge they have a tough game in store against an Everton side with four points after an excellent draw at Manchester City and who have conceded only one goal all season across European and the first two premierleague games. Pickford and Michael Keane look excelent signings and they should be very solid at the back all season.

Chelsea are best priced 4/9 to win here which just looks too short. My idea of a bet here is Everton +1 on the handicap at 2/1 with Bet365.

Watford v Brighton

Under Marco Silva Watford have had a strong start to the season with four points, a home draw against Liverpool and a clean sheet win at Bournemouth.

Brighton on the other hand, who i saw live last weekend, have lost two out of two and really have carried no attacking threat at all whilst suffering the problem many prooted sides face, defensive mistakes are punished as they aren’t at lower levels. New signings ight boost righton’s firepower but for now it looks like a long hard season is ahead

Watford are 19/20 to win here with BetVictor, an attractive price

West Bromwich Abion v Stoke City

West Brom have won their first two games both 1-0 at home to Bournemouth and then away at urnley in a drab game but which nevertheless showcased west Brom’s organisation and solidity.

Stoke struggled at Everton but looked a different prospect at home to Arsenal with new signing Jese impressing. I wouldn’t be surprised to see quite a home-away split to results this year.

West Brom are 6/4 to win this match on sunday lunchtime, a price i will be supporting
