With Manchester City 16 points clear at the top of the table, attention is focussed on a big battle to avoid relegation with as many as ten teams at risk in a crowded league table

Bournemouth v Newcastle United

Bournemouth have three wins and a draw in their last five home games, a run that has pushed them up to tenth in the table. Newcastle make the long journey to the south coast on the back of a vital win against Manchester United that lifted them outside the bottom three. They too have only lost once in their last five games and with Lascelles a key figure at the back have only conceded six goals in those five games

Odds here see Bourneouth 6/5 favourites, Newcastle 27/10 with the draw up to 5/2. I like the draw here given Newcastle’s defensive form.

Brighton and Hove Albion v Swansea City

Swansea are on a great run under Carvahal. Dead and buried before his arrival three wins and two draws have seen them climb to 16th and with reasonable prospects of avoiding relegation. Brighton had a key win against West Ham to stay outside the bottom three. Tier strnegth is in defence and have only lost three games at home all season.

At 9/4 the draw is also my favoued option here.

Burnley v Southampton

Burnley are on their worst run of the season with two points in their last five games. Still in the bottom three, Southapton have one loss in five games, and three draws. Both these sides struggle to create many chances in 2018 but recency bias is at play in prices. Burnley, at home, are just under 2/1 with BetVctor. That is a price that cannot be ignored, as Suthapton are marginal favourites and there is not much to suggest they should be away from home
