Four games into the season and while the Manchester clubs are both at the head of the table, we have had the first managerial casualty of the new season as pointless Crystal Palace make a change

Crystal Palace v Southampton

Crystal Palace lost their fourth game in a row to start the season at Brnley despite having 22 shots in the game having conceded an early goal. Now Frank De Boer has been replaced by Roy Hodgson who might mesh better with this group of players. Southampton suffered a disappointing 2-0 loss at home to Watford and are heavy favourites here to win as the away tea, an understandable proposition given Palace’s results so far this season where they have yet to score a goal

The 9/4 available about Palace who you would have thought would go ore “back to basics” and possibly more direct is an interesting price though and worth supporting. We might see that this group of players are more motivated by what they are used to,than what they were being asked to change to.

Chelsea v Arsenal

A big London derby for Sunday and after their early season hiccup athome to Burnley Chelsea have won all their games and are beginning to motor with Morata hitting form,Hazard returning from injury and the squad strengthened by the summer transfer window

Arsenal’s facile victory athome to Bournemouth confirmed along held trend. Arsenal are accompished “flat track bullies” against the lesser sides but typically struggle when facing the bigger teams and the recent record against top six sides is very mediocre. I expect that to continue this weekend with Chelsea more powerful and more prolific than their visitors. Chelsea can be backed at 5/6 here

WBA v West Ham United

West Brom won 7 points out of 9 to start the season then suffered a surprising 3-0 reverse at Brighton to check their progress. Meanwhile West Ham got off the mark in their first home game, beating ddersfield 2-0 to climb off the bottom fo the table

West Brom away is another kettle of fish though,a very well organised side that is difficult to break down and i feel the 7/5 available aboth the home teamhere is very attractive
