With Manchester City now well clear at the top of the table after their derby win, the last weekend before the hectic Christmas programme sees a number ofgood betting opportunities

Brighton and Hove Albion v Burnley

With their win over Stoke on Tesday urnley moved to fourth in the table to much fanfare and remarkably have turned sixteen league goals into 31 points so far this season, and crucially have only conceded 12 goals in their 17 games such is their solidity and organisation

Burnley are a big price, 5/2 with BetVictor,to travel to righton and continue their good run.Brighton were briefly in the top half of the table but their for has tailed away recently with only one win and four goals in their last six games. There probably won’t be many goals in the game, but Burnley should edge it

Leicester City v Crystal Palace

Leicester are up to 8th in the table after a fine start under Puel, with 4 wins and two draws from his first seven games as manager the only defeat coming to Manchester City. I write before the away game at Suthampton on Wednesday night but they are a toughproposition to play again with plenty of flair and firepower in the front four causing problems for all their opponents

Palace are out of the botto three after coming from behind to beat Watford on Tuesday night with two late goals. Having suffereda terrible start to the season the arrival of Roy Hodgson has really steadied the ship. Palace areunbeaten in six games, albeit with foru draws and should climb the table further if they can covert one point into three more frequently

That said getting Evens or better about Leicester here with etVictor cannot be ignored

Stoke City v West Ham United

After their heavy loss at Tottenham and narrow late loss at rnley Stoke have one win frotheir last six games and Mark Hghes is under pressure. This may be a good time to play Stoke, with confidence low and a possible managerial change ahead,a process West Ham are several weeks along with and which has begun to pay dividends with the home win over Chelsea. WestHamonlyhave that one result to show for their efforts under Moyes so far so this selection is speculative but 11/4 on the visitors here looks an interesting price.
