A look at the recommended best bets for the upcoming remier League weekend

Recommendations

Chelsea to beat Manchester United at 6/4 William Hill

Swansea City to beat Leicester Cty at 19/20 William Hill

West Brom and Crystal Palace to draw at 13/5 BetVictor

Manchester United v Chelsea

A highlight of the weekend sees league leaders Chelsea visit Old Trafford. Chelsea look imperious this season with the introduction of Diego Costa providing a cutting edge to a team with a wealth of midfield options, a very secure defence, tactical flexibility away from home and worthy favourites to win the title

Manchester United meanwhile are adjusting to different players, different formations and playing styles and look inconsistent.

I am assuming Diego Costa will be fit, and think 6/4 Chelsea with William Hill  is a big price given the relative stages of the two teams development

Swansea Cty v Leicester City

Leicester’s bright start, with notable results against “bigger” teams has tailed off in the last few games with 1  point in the last three. t could be that teams are beginning, now they have seen them more often, to work them out. Teams have begun to deny them the opportunity to counter-attack, cutting the service into Ulloa and the Leicester goals have begun to dry up

Swansea also have had a tougher month than in early season with no wins in three but retain an attractive footballing style that is difficult to contain at home. With Leicester beginning to struggle, prices around even money (currently 19/20 with William Hill) on the home win here in the late Saturday game are attractive

West Brom v Crystal Palace

This should be a cagey encounter. West Brom did well on monday night against Manchester United to draw and Crystal Palace tend to set up conservatively away from home , often successfully, and this would put me off what look to be very skinny prices of under even money on the home team here

This is despite the emergence of the very talented Berahino for West Brom, who are beginning to belie their status of relegation favourites under Alan Irvine.

The value here looks to be the draw at 13/5 with BetVictor, a price pushed above 5/2 by the contraction of the home win price since last Monday night. Palace are unlikely to be as generous as the Manchester United defence were.
