Saturday saw Manchester City and Chelsea lose at home to sides outside the top six, the result of which is that Liverpool are four points clear at the top of the table as we head to Christmas

Crystal Palace v Cardiff City

Crystal Palace had a sensational result winning at Manchester City, off 22% possession with two excellent goals helping them make the most of their chances. Up to 14th in the table with three wins in their last five league games they have an excellent chance to continue their climb up the table at home to Cardiff, beaten 5-1 at home by Manchester United on Saturday but nevertheless happy to be outside the bottom three heading into Christmas.

Whilst wary of a letdown after the weekend’s efforts, Crystal Palace at 4/6 with BetVictor has to be taken

Fulham v Wolves

Ranieri continues to try to introduce defensive solidity to Fulham, switching to five at the back for the trip to Newcastle and coming away with a point. Wolves are in the top half and competing well even in games against the top six. This could be a christmas slog if Fuham concentrate on not conceding first and relying on Mitrovic for moments of skill at the other end. Wolves are a solid away side too. I like the look of the draw at 5/2 with BetVictor.

Burnley v Everton

Burnley lost 3-1 at Arsenal, on the wrong end of a few decisions but not in the same class as their hosts and head to Boxing day in the bottom three, losers of five out of their last six scoring only four goals and conceding 11, a far cry from their miserly defensive stats from last year. Everton play on Sunday against Tottenham, this written before that game but should have the firepower and these days pace in the team away from home to win here, available at evens with BetVictor.
