Huge games at both ends of the table this weekend as we head into the final five games of the season

Norwich City v Sunderland (Saturday 12.45pm)

Sunderland go into the game four points behind Norwich with six games to go and a game in hand and this is the archetypal six pointer with one team looking likely to survive, one to drop into the Championship. The issue for Sunderland is that they lack goals, only Defoe is a consistent goal-scoring threat and whilst Allardyce has shored the side up defensively for much of the season since his arrival at Christmas, draws are now not going to be enough.

Norwich meanwhile have picked up form in recent weeks with a vital late win against Newcastle two weeks ago representing a second successive win taking them clear of the botom three. That has coincided with more organisation from the back and conceding fewer goals.

For this game prices are Norwich 11/8 Sunderland 9/4 and the Draw 23/10. As it suggests, this should be tight and nervy and i like the draw at 23/10 with sportingbet.

Everton v Southampton

Amidst some unrest, Everton have slipped to 14th in the table with three defeats and a draw in the last four games and all season the home form has been very questionable, with a lack of defensive organisation particularly costly. Yet they are as short as 5/4 favourites here against a Suthampton side who have been in great form since Christmas.

Southampton are now up to 7th with three wins in their last four league games, playing with plenty of goal-scoring potential yet BetVictor have them as 23/10 underdogs here in a game they will be looking to win to continue their challenge for a European place

West Brom v Watford

Two teams in the bottom half of the table meet at the Hawthorns and Watford particularly have faded in the second half of the season as the goals from the Ighalo/Deeney partnership have dried up. West Brom are notoriously difficult to break down and Watford are extremely well organised. Both teams have only scored 31 goals in 32 league games too

This game shouts low scoring draw to me. Sportingbet have the draw at 9/4, other higher variance options would be no goalscorer at 7/1 and 1-1 correct score at 6/1 both with BetVictor
