Ongame Releases Real Money iPhone Poker App

Ongame has now officially launched an iPhone poker app with real money play, giving their poker network partners the ability to provide their players with real money poker on-the-go. Recently bwin was the first poker operator to release it to their players.

On 19 January, bwin was the first operator to launch Ongame’s poker app in Apple’s App Store in the UK and Austria. Ongame is now looking to integrate more partners on this new platform.

-“Thanks to the Ongame iPhone poker app, our customers can, for the first time ever, show what they’ve got in the world’s biggest poker network via the popular iPhone platform,” says Berthold Kao, in charge of Product Management RNG & Mobile at bwin.

The iPhone poker app gives players access to Ongame’s large network liquidity in real money Texas hold’em cash games. The poker app comes in a clean design optimized to ensure a fluid player experience, with crisp retina graphics and intuitive one-button game-play.

-“We are proud to release this well-designed product for the iPhone,” says Fredrik Kjell, Head of Poker at Ongame. “Being in the forefront of the industry and pushing innovation supports our idea of releasing profitable and exciting products. We were early in Italy, first into France and now we’re first on the iPhone.”

The iPhone poker app will also be available for iPad and iPod Touch. Apple reviews every app on the App Store based on a set of criteria, and reserves the right to reject apps at their sole discretion.
