Based on what we have seen so far from the two in this event, it is clear that we are going to see a very interesting encounter between the two very best players in the world right now. Both had to come through a few tests before reaching this stage and they both managed to raise their game for those matches, but this is going to be a completely different than anything before, as the title is now on the line.

The two have already played in a few finals and, until Murray’s triumph in the US Open, Novak Djokovic was the man who had the mental edge when it came to these battles. However, the tide has turned a little bit and the Scot now seems to be mature enough to not self-destruct completely under pressure. He certainly showed that in his clash with Roger Federer, coming back nicely in the fifth set after losing the fourth in a very poor manner.

One thing is certain – there is so much quality in the store for this match that it would be very surprising to see either guy running over his opponent easily. With that, I think that there is a good chance of seeing a very tense match that will have a solid chance of going all the way down to the wire.
