Onto week 5, two unbeaten teams remain the Arizona Cardinals and the Cincinnati Bengals. Both feature in this week’s recommendations

Recommendations

Arizona Cardinals +7.5, 10/11 Corals at Denver Broncos

Cincinnati Bengals -1, 10/11 William Hill at New England Patriots

Kansas City Chiefs +6.5, 10/11 William Hill at San Francisco 49ers

Arizona Cardinals at Denver Broncos

The 3-0 Cardinals, off their bye week, have a tough one at the Broncos. The Cardinals strength is their defense, one of the most under-rated units in the league but it is a testament to them that the team has remained unbeaten despite the absence of quarterback Carson Palmer. This should be a close game, even more so if the slightly spluttering Broncos offense that we saw before their bye resumes. Arizona are currently 7.5 point underdogs on the point spreads, available at 10/11 with Coral. With seven being a key number in these spreads (the value of a converted touchdown) 7.5 should be taken

Cincinnati Bengals at New England Patriots

The unbeaten Bengals head off their bye to the Patriots with the best defense in the league, having conceded the fewest points of any team so far this season, and with a balanced offense with match-winning ability at both running back (Gio Bernard) and wide receiver (AJ Green). The Patriots have issues on both side of the ball that were manifest in their heavy loss at Kansas City on Monday night. These were notably run defense, offensive line and the play of quarterback Tom Brady who was benched.

The point spread here is virtually “pick-em”. I would say the Bengals are a better team, off a bye playing a team coming out on a shrotened week. Bengals -1 10/11 in various places should be supported

Kansas City Chiefs at San Francisco 49ers

The Chiefs are a different prospect now that star running back Jamaal Charles is fit again, as he shiowed with three touchdowns in the victory on Monday night.  Yet they go into Sunday’s trip to San Francisco 6.5 point underdogs to a 49ers team that beat the Eagles alst week primarily because the Eagles had severe injury problems across their offensive line that prevented their normally high-powered offense from performing. With the Chiefs healthier, and the 49ers flattered by their last result, getting nearly a touchdown from William Hill at 10/11 is a bet
