A thrilling first week of the season saw some great matches and one big upset with the Buccaneers beating the Saints away from home in an 88 point match. Here are the best of the week’s betting opportunities for week 2

Carolina Panthers at Atlanta Falcons

The Panthers travel to this divisional game in Atlanta having beaten the Cowboys 16-8 behind a strong defensive performance and the running game provided by McCaffrey and the Newton read-option. This of course will be a close game but the Falcons missed a ot of opportunities primarily in play calling in their 18-12 loss in Philadelphia. In terms of value the 10/11 available about the Panthers +3.5 appeals in what should be a one score game

New York Giants at Dallas Cowboys

Both these NFC East teams lost in week 1. The Giants lost by 5 points at home to the formidable Jaguars, with flashes of big play ability from top draft pick Saquon Barkley, the return of Odell Beckham and an improved offensive line though the roster remains a work in progress

The Cowboys defense is much improved and looks the clear strength of their team asd the offense is so dysfunctional. The receiver and Tight End position is especially weak, the offensive line not the force it once was and Prescott the quarterbak inaccurate. The result is a team that looks even at this early stage of the season to havemajor difficulties

The Giants +3.5 at 10/11 really appeals here

LA Chargers at Buffalo Bills

The Chargers went down 38-28 at home to divisional rivals the Chiefs in week 1 despite a lights out performance from quarterback Philip Rivers who was let down by several receivers in key spots, plus missing key defensive pass rusher Joey Bosa was a big loss against an explosive offense.

The Bills were shellacked 47-3 in rainy Baltimore and look to have a realistic unwelcome shot at the NFL's worst record this year with little offensive talent. The Chargers -7.5 at 10/11 should be a line that is covered
