After one of the most exciting games in NFL history last night, the Rams and Saints go into week 13 with 10-1 records and as Superbowl favourites
My focus this week is on three divisional games:
Buffalo Bills at Miami Dolphins
The Bills won their 4th match of the season beating the Jaguars 24-21 on Sunday. The Bills have a sub par offense which tends to hide what an excellent defensive unit they have but on their day the rookie quarterback Josh Allen shows promise and they are capable of winning games. In this divisional match-up they travel to the 5-6 Dolphins who blow hot and cold and lost to the Colts last weekend
In what should be a close game, possibly low scoring getting the Bills with a 6 point start on the point spread at 10/11 with Skybet gives us some meat on the bone.
Indianapolis Colts at Jacksonville Jaguars
The Colts are showing a lot of potential under new head coach Reich with Luck and Hilton now combined with a talented offensive line and running backs their offense is firing while young defensive players are re-tooling what has been a perennially disappointing defense. The Colts have won 5 in a row to move to a 6-5 record and into play off contention
The Jaguars on the other hand haveimploded losing seven in a row having started the season 3-1. Quarterback continues to be a huge problem especially as the defense is not as impenetrable as it was last season.
Getting the Colts -3.5 at 10/11 here for teams with such diverse recent fortunes is attractive
Washington Redskins at Philadephia Eagles
The NFC East is a three way race for what should be one play off spot and both of these teams have weaknesses currently. With a back up quarterback the Redskins are going to rely on the ground game to control the clock but offensive line injuries are a concern in that regard. The Eagles, who were extremely fortunate to beat the Giants last weekend and arrest their slump had a mass of secondary injuries.
In what should be a tight game on Monday Night Football the Redskins +6.5 at 10/11 should be supported
