The Divisional round takes place this weekend, with the four top seeds who had first round byes hosting the wild card weekend winners

Saturday

9.35pm GMT Indianapolis Colts at Kansas City Chiefs

The Chiefs with their explosive offense face a real threat from the Colts who were impressive in the wild card round victory at the Texans, with a much improved defense to ally to Andrew Luck and an offense featuring one of the best offensive lines in football. With a week’s rest and at home the Chiefs should be favourites, very few opponents have limited their offense all season but I like the Colts getting +5.5 points at 10/11 with SkyBet to keep it close

Sunday

1.15am GMT Dallas Cowboys at Los Angeles Rams

The Cowboys relied on their very fast defense and excellent running game to get past the Seahawks 22-20 last weekend and that defense is going to have to step it up a notch to keep them competitive against Todd Gurley and the Rams in LA. Again with a week’s rest, at home and with innovative coaching the Rams have to be favourites but i will take the Cowboys +7 points at 10/11 to keep it within a score

6.05pm GMT Los Angeles Chargers at New England Patriots

The Chargers face a tough travel schedule here, travelling east cost for wild card weekend, back to the west cost and then to New England a week later. In their impressive defensive performance at the Ravens the Chargers faced a very one dimensional offense and now have to meet Bill Belichek and Tom Brady. I like the Patriots to cover -4.5 points at 10/11 with SkyBet

9.40pm GMT Philadelphia Eagles at New Orleans Saints

The Eagles pulled off the underdog victory against the number three seed Bears on Sunday night to be rewarded with a trip to the number one seed Saints. In November the Saints crushed the Eagles 48-11 at home. Now it is Nick Foles at quarterback but its tough to see the Eagles pulling off the shock here. The question is whether the Saints can cover -9 on the point spread and this is a no bet game for me
