A huge game earlier in the Premier League Season tonight as Manchester United meet Chelsea on Monday Night Football. This preview includes details of the Bet365 Offer, that makes this game a must play for bettors

Recommendation

Stage One Back the draw at 12-5 Bet365

Stage Two In Play back the draw for the same stake 12-5 Bet365

The Bet365 Offer

“Place a pre-match bet on the Man Utd v Chelsea game and we will give you a free In-Play bet to the same stake on the big match.

To qualify for your free In-Play bet, simply place a bet before kick-off, then once the game starts place another bet on any In-Play market. If your FIRST In-Play bet loses we will refund this stake, up to the same value as your largest pre-match bet (max £50*)”

This gives us the opportunity to enhance the odds on our selection by getting a free second bet. It can be used on a different bet, but for the purposes of this article I am going to double up on the first bet to hopefully enhance value by effectively doubling the odds on my selection. You can open a Bet365 account by clicking on Bet365 or the banners at the top and bottom of the article

So,to the game. Chelsea have won two games out of two but this of course is a much sterner test. United looked impressive dismantling Swansea away and Van Persie was a predatory a finisher as ever.

Chelsea, especially under Mourinho, have a team built to counter attack with a solid defence to soak up pressure and Lampard and Ramires protecting in front. The danger on the break will come from the three of Hazard, Mata, Oscar, De Bruyne and Schurrle selected to play behind the lone striker.

At times last season Manchester United struggled in Europe against such styles, and were exposed at home on the counter-attack. Of course under Moyes, that susceptibility may not hold this season, and a more cautious approach in these big games may be the order of the day

It’s likely to be a close game, and outrights are difficult to predict as shown by prices of 6/4 United, 9/4 Chelsea and 5/2 the draw. Chelsea could become the first team ever to win two Barclays Premier League games at Old Trafford versus Man Utd in a calendar year having won 1-0 at the back end of last season.

The percentage play here appears to me to be to back the draw. It certainly wouldn’t be the worst result for either side after Manchester City’s surprise loss yesterday and Chelsea have the experience and tactical capability to shut up shop at any point if need be, for example if they were to equalise.
