Lower League Football Accumulator Betting TipsWe went from the sublime to the ridiculous with last week’s lower league accumulator bet, as we had bit of a shocker having successfully landed a 12/1 acca the week before. We’re still very much in profit at this early stage of the season though and we’ve lined up another series of tips for your weekend football coupons that, if backed as a treble at the current prices, would give odds of 8.72 (a little under 8/1) with BetVictor. That’s a return of £168.40 from a £20 bet! Read on to see this weekend’s football accumulator betting tips

Football Accumulator Betting Tips

1 – Tranmere vs Peterborough
Ronnie Moore’s men surprised everyone with their impressive start to last season, but appear to have reverted to type this year having picked up just a single point from their opening three League One matches, including a last time out defeat at Crewe. The Tranmere squad is quite thin anyway (just 17 fit professionals for the Crewe fixture) with particular problems in defence, where Danny Holmes will be suspended and Ash Taylor and Stephen Foster have been publicly complaining about being unable to play together in the heart of defence. These are the sort of problems that a manager could do without on the eve of a match against a promotion chasing side.

The Posh, meanwhile, have made the perfect start to their bid to return to the Championship at the first time of asking, having picked up nine points from a possible nine so far. A solid start to the campaign saw them beating Swindon by a single goal, before firing in six goals in their next two matches to show that the loss of Dwight Gayle has not been the blow that it might have been. With goals all over the pitch, Peterborough look to be a good bet for promotion at this early stage and they can carry on their impressive start with another win here today, making them a must for all weekend football accumulators. The current best price of 2.10 with BetVictor is generous to say the least.

2 – Oldham vs Port Vale
Oldham are the second of this weekend’s lower league football accumulator tips, at a current best price of 2.40 with BetVictor. The Latics have lost two of their opening three matches, but there’s no disgrace in losing by a single goal to both Walsall and Peterborough, while their other match was a 4-3 win at Stevenage, which showed resilience, as well as the fact that Lee Johnson’s men have plenty of goals in them on their day. Although Oldham finished 19th last season, they weren’t a bad side at home and only conceded 26 goals at Boundary Park, which is a difficult place to visit.

Port Vale have picked up four points from their first three matches back in League One, but a narrow victory over fellow promoted side Bradford, a defeat on the road to Colchester and an opening day draw with Brentford don’t suggest to me that Mickey Adams’ men are going to take the division by storm. Rob Taylor and Joe Davis have returned to training, but both seem unlikely to start against Oldham. It’s matches like this one on Saturday that will determine how Port Vale’s season unfolds and I think that Oldham will prevail. At the current prices, they are a great value addition to our accumulator bet.

3 – Oxford United vs Wycombe Wanderers
Last season, Wycombe were a bit hit and miss on their travels; they managed to win nine times away from Adams Park, but lost 12 times (only bottom side Barnet lost more away from home). So far this campaign, they have lost their only game on the road in a 1-0 defeat to Wimbledon and this Saturday’s task against Oxford looks tougher than that. Paris Cowan-Hall is injured, while captain Stuart Lewis must sit out due to suspension, further adding to the difficulty of the task.

Chris Wilder’s Oxford have had the perfect start to the League Two campaign, collecting a maximum nine points and scoring nine times into the bargain. Summer signing Dave Kitson and influential midfielder Alfie Potter should both be fit to feature against Wycombe and at a current best price of 1.73 with BetVictor, they look like bankers for our lower league accumulator bet this weekend.
