Match Odds Betting Preview
Liverpool have still not managed to beat a side in the top ten (in thirteen attempts), but away draws at Arsenal and Manchester City showed some real improvement, particularly the latter game, and with three heavy home wins in a row (with twelve goals for and zero against) the time looks right for them to put that record right versus ninth placed Albion.
West Brom have endured some faltering form since starting the season so well. They have not won since Boxing day, and have lost five of their last six. One clean sheet in sixteen illustrates where their issues may lie, but they also endured some rather disruptive behaviour from Peter Odemwingie on transfer deadline day, and manager Steve Clarke could use a positive result.
Peter Odemwingie has filled plenty of column inches since he turned up at Loftus Road and QPR drew the curtains and turned the lights out on him. With his suspension imposed by West Brom now completed, he may feature tomorrow and is 6.0 to score anytime with Hills, or 15.0 with BetVictor for the first of the game. More realistically, Luis Saurez (4.33 generally) and Daniel Sturridge (5.0 with bwin) are likely to break the deadlock, but with doubts over the fitness of Sturridge, the 11.4 on offer for Rahem Stirling (Betfair) is interesting.
Liverpool have won their last three home games 4-0 (Fulham), 3-0 (Sunderland) and 5-0 (Norwich). For the Reds to win ‘To Nil’, the best price is 2.25 with Ladbrokes. To make up a -1.5 handicap, Liverpool are 2.0 with Paddy Power, to make up -2.5 they are 3.2 with Bet365.
For a Baggies away win, a 0-1 smash and grab is 34.0 with BetVictor, or a repeat of their opening day 3-0 win is 350.0 at Betfair.
