Leicester City versus Wolves was expected to be a clash of two promotion rivals at the start of the season, but while the Foxes have got themselves in the mix for the title, Wanderers have stuttered throughout the campaign. Can they get back on track at the Walkers Stadium?
Match: Leicester v Wolves
Betting tip: Back Leicester -1.5 on the Asian Handicap
Best Odds: 2.38 with Pinnacle
Kick Off: 19:45 31/01/2013 (GMT)
Wolves have managed some sporadic good results this term, but not against good opposition away from home. They have been beaten six times in six games on the road versus teams in the top 8 of the Championship, and on four occasions they were beaten by two goals or more. Dean Saunders has come in as manager but has had little impact on results as yet, and Wanderers have lost five of the last eight. Leicester have climbed into 2nd place – the second automatic promotion spot – and Nigel Pearson will be keen to stay there (catching Cardiff at the top looks a forlorn hope). The Foxes have won ten of fourteen at home, and four of their last five. In five of the seven games where they have hosted teams in the bottom half of the League, they have won by two goals or more, and they look a fair price to do so again here.
