Matches this weekend as follows
Saturday 27th April
Rajasthan Royals v Sunrisers Hyderabad
Rajasthan won in Kolkota on Thursday by three wickets chasing 175 for what was only their fourth victory of the season. Archer’s 27 not out of 12 balls got the visitors over the line and keep their slim hopes of a play off spot alive.
Sunrisers Hyderabad lost to CSK on Tuesday, with the home side chasing 175 for the loss of only four wickets. As a result Sunrisers are in fourth place in the table with five wins and five defeats. They now see the strength of their team, the high powered opening partnership, broken up with Bairstow returning to England for the international season at home.
An even looking game with modest preference for Rajasthan at home in the absence of Bairstow at 10/11 with SkyBet.
Sunday 28th April
Delhi Capitals v RCB
Delhi rose to the top of the IPL table with their seventh win in eleven matches on Monday with a fine win against Rajasthan chasing 191 to win by six wickets with four balls to spare. For one of the IPL’s also ran teams for many seasons this is quite the transformation with Rabada over 20 wickets already in this year’s competition and an exciting young batting line up. Delhi have now won five of their last six matches and won five away matches overall, a record for the franchise.
RCB won their third match in a row when beating Kings XI Punjab by 17 runs on Wednesday, this after losing seven of their first eight games this season. This win kept their slim hopes of the play-offs alive and their season has turned with the arrival of Dale Steyn to boost the bowling ranks, as well as better form from their star batsmen who have helped the team compile some competitive totals.
With two in form sides playing here, Delhi at 10/11 look the safer bet with Skybet, but RCB are dangerous opponents.
KKR v Mumbai Indians
KKR lost at home to Rajasthan on Thursday, amazingly for a strong consistent franchise over many years this is their sixth IPL loss in succession and they now have 5 wins out of 13 games
Mumbai play this game in short order after an away match at league leaders CSK on Friday. Ahead of the game Mumbai are in third place in the table with six wins in ten games, though they lost their last game to Rajasthan last Saturday.
Can KKR bounce back at home? Well Mumbai have to be favoured at 10/11 with SkyBet.
