Sunrisers lead the early points table with three wins out of three games while at the other end the defending champion Mumbai Indians have lost their first three games of the season.

Games this midweek as follows

Wednesday 18th April
Rajastan Royals v KKR

Sanju Samson smashed 10 sixes in an unbeaten knock of 92 off 45 balls as Rajasthan Royals beat Royal Challengers Bangalore by 19 runs on Sunday and give the side their second win in their first three games
Scoreboard pressure won the day in the Indian Premier League clash between the Kolkata Knight Riders and the Delhi Daredevils on Monday.

Having won the toss the Daredevils unsurprisingly opted to bowl first as most captain’s have done in this campaign.
But the Daredevils didn’t bank on a brutal cameo from Andre Russell that lifted the home side from 117 for 4 in the 14th over to 178 for 5 at the fall of the West Indian’s wicket in the 18th.

Some late slogging saw the Knight Riders reach 200 for 9 at the end of their twenty with Nitish Rana’s 59 holding the middle order together.

Despite losing a few early wickets the Daredevils remained in the game through Rishabh Pant (43) and Glenn Maxwell (47) but their departures in the 9th and 11th overs of the chase left the Daredevils 113 for six and chasing the game.
KKR have now won 2 of their 4 games

Here Rajastan are 6/5 home underdogs, KKR 8/11 and at the price with Bet365 Rajastan are the value.

Thursday 19th April
Kings XI Punjab v Sunrisers Hyderabad

Chris Gayle smashed 63 on his IPL comeback as Kings XI Punjab beat Chennai Super Kings by four runs, despite a stunning unbeaten 79 from MS Dhoni that nearly fired his side to victory.

Set 198 to win, Chennai had seemingly timed their chase poorly when, with six overs remaining, they still required a massive 85 runs to win and Dhoni had only two boundaries and 23 runs to his name.

Dhoni was also badly struggling with a back injury, seeing him and his batting partners struggle to run between the wickets. However, he signalled his six-hitting intent in the 15th over, launching Ravichandran Ashwin for six over deep square-leg.
However KXIP held on to win by four runs, despite Dhoni’s heroics, including smashing the last ball for six.

Sunrisers have won all three games and it their bowling attack that has led the way restrictjng opponents to 129,147 and 149. Sunrisers look to have the best bowling attack in the competition with Kumar and Stanlake providing pace and Shakib and Rashid spin

KXIP are even money here, Sunrisers 10/11. I expected them to be shorter and will be supporting them with Bet365
