As the tournament prepares to move back to India for the second half of the group games, Sunday sees two more group games in Sharjah

Delhi Daredevils vs Mumbai Indians (4:00pm IST) Sharjah Cricket Stadium

These two sides lie bottom of the fledgling league table with one win in seven games combined. Mumbai have had difficult putting up high enough totals with the bat, leaving the talented bowling line up including Malinga, Ojha and Harbhajan unable to defend without sufficient runs on the board. Delhi have a different problem, able to compile totals (just failing to chase 184 to beat Sunrisers last time out) but without the bowling strength to restrict the opposition

My idea of the best value bet here is the Delhi batsman JP Duminy. The early batsmen will have to withstand Malinga and although it is frustrating to see Duminy bat as low as five in the order, it may work in his favour here as it did when he landed a Betpal tip in Delhi’s first game. At 11-2 with Ladbrokes to be Delhi top scorer, Duminy looks a couple of points too high

Sunrisers Hyderabad vs Chennai Super Kings (8:00pm IST) Sharjah Cricket Stadium

Sunrisers won their first game of IPL at their third attempt when beating Delhi with, finally, the high octane top order of Dawan, Finch and Warner all coming to the party in compiling a total of 184. Doing so against Chennai, one of the strongest sides in the tournament, will be tougher.

For Chennai, they will know that once they get through the Sunrisers top three, the line up gets a lot easier. We have a winning tip earlier in the week with Jadeja, who took four wickets in the victory over Rajastan at 11-2. Still offered at 9-2 by Stan James for this game against fellow spinner R Ashwin as 11/4 favourite. Ashwin is more likely to be in the firing line of the Sunrisers top-order – he bowls earlier in the innings. Jadeja is likely to have the easier task
