Latvia v Greece

Greece are continually under rated and are a healthy price to win in Latvia. The Greeks notched away wins in Israel, Georgia and Armenia last season, and drew in Poland. Their last friendly resulted in a 2-3 win in Norway – they are setup to do very well on their travels. They can pick up another win here against a Latvia side who have lost every time they have come up against reasonable opposition of late (Poland and Croatia). Wins versus Malta and Lithuania hardly redress the balance and the visitors look value.

Russia v Northern Ireland

Russia won 4 and drew 2 of their home fixtures last season, but the real story here is Michael O’Niell’s Northern Ireland. The last 12 months have been a horror show on the road. A 4-1 defeat in Estonia was followed by a 3-0 loss in Italy and a 6-0 drubbing in Holland. It gets no easier heading to Moscow, and despite the tiny price on the Russians, it looks an absolute sure thing.

Jamaica v USA

The US have been on a steadily improving curve for some time, and their price to beat Jamaica in their World Cup qualifier looks too big. Since November 2011, the States have won friendlies in Slovenia, Italy, Panama and Mexico – they are well capable of getting wins on the road. Jamaica meanwhile, have really only picked up results against weak opposition and the defeat at home to Panama draws a form line with the US which makes the visitors look a decent bet.

International Accumulator tip

Back wins for Greece, Russia and the US. All offer value as singles, but Pinnacle offer 5.3 on the treble for those seeking bigger returns.
