Recommended bets:
2.50 Lingfield – Dandy Boy @ 3/1 (4.00) with Coral

5.50 Wolverhampton – Avon Breeze @ 7/2 (4.50) with Bet365

Longshot of the day:
3.05 Cheltenham – Monetary Fund @ 16/1 (17.00) with BetVictor

David Marnane’s Dandy Boy is the first of our free horse racing tips for Saturday November 17th. The six year old Wokingham winner has been running in Group One company of late and this huge drop in class means he’s clearly the one to beat. Although he’s never been seen at the course before, he’s no stranger to artificial surfaces having registered a brace of wins over at Dundalk earlier in his career. The 3/1 (4.00) current on offer with Coral looks juicy.

Avon Breeze is the second of Saturday’s horse racing tips, running in the 5.50 at Wolverhampton. The three year old filly may have had to settle for a distant second on her handicap debut last time out, but she will enjoy the drop back to today’s shorter trip of 5f, the distance over which she shed her maiden tag. She looks to have more than enough ability to win what looks an average race at best and at a current best price of 7/2 (4.50) with Bet365, she looks like a good bet.

Our Each-Way longshot tip for Saturday November 17th is the Venetia Williams trained Monetary Fund, currently rated a 16/1 (17.00) chance by BetVictor to land the 3.05 at Cheltenham. Last seen when battling on gamely at Musselburgh nine days ago to get back up by a neck after having been headed, the six year old is proven at this trip, at this type of track and is equally capable on any type of ground. A consistent performer according to the speed figures, he has to be worth a bet at the prices given the form he’s in at present, even if today’s step up in trip does represent a tougher challenge.
