Yesterday’s selections were all near misses, with two seconds and a third, so we’re determined to go a step closer with today’s free horse racing tips. We’ve had a 12/1 winner and a 16/1 second with our longshot bets in the past two days, and we’re confident that today’s 12/1 (Bet365) outsider is also capable of a decent run. Read on for today’s racing tips!

David O'Meara: Trainer of today's longshot tip

Recommended bets:
Beverley 19:30 – Pursue @ 6.00 (5/1) with Paddy Power
Haydock 19:45 – Jamesbo’s Girl @ 2.75 (7/4) with Bet365

Longshot of the day:
Doncaster 16:10 – El Torbellino @ 13.00 (12/1) with Bet365

Our first tip of the day for July 6th, the William Haggas trained Pursue, looks to have a great chance in the 19:30 at Beverley. The three year old may still be a maiden but certainly seems to be heading the right way and last time out went down by just a head in first time blinkers. Today’s soft ground shouldn’t be a problem and the best of 5/1 (6.00) with Paddy Power looks very attractive indeed.

The second of our daily horse racing tips is Jamesbo’s Girl, trained by David Nicholls, and she looks a good thing in Haydock’s 19:45 race. An impressive winner last time out on softer ground, she looks sure to reverse form with Lexi The Princess having since gained racing experience.

Our outside bet for today is El Torbellino in Doncaster’s 16:10 race. David O’Meara’s four year old filly looks to be getting back to her best form after a recent third place finish and remains only 2lbs higher than her last winning mark. A soft ground winner in the past, today’s going will not be an issue, but the current best price of 12/1 (13.00) with Bet365 is down to the fact that this 1m 4f trip has only been attempted once before – without success. I’m happy to take an Each-Way chance that she has the required stamina to do the business today, though.
