Check out our daily horse racing tips for July 19th 2012, where we have a juicy 14/1 (15.00) outsider with Bet365 lined up, as well as a couple of stronger fancies, including Richard Fahey’s Sparkling Portrait (pictured).
4.00 Hamilton – Sparkling Portrait @ 9/4 (3.25) with William Hill
6.20 Doncaster – Myjestic Melody @ 7/1 (8.00) with Bet365
Longshot of the day:
8.40 Bath – Decider @ 14/1 (15.00) with Bet365
The first of our daily horse racing tips is Richard Fahey’s Sparkling Portrait, who finished seventh last time out in a Royal Ascot handicap, despite a truckload of trouble in running. That run suggests that the three year old colt should be comfortable in today’s class and the soft ground at Hamilton will only enhance his chances. William Hill are currently best priced at 9/4 (3.25).
Myjestic Melody in the 6.20 at Doncaster is our second horse racing tip of the day, as she seems a bit overpriced at 7/1 (8.00) with Bet365. She has some useful form over the trip and the ground, despite not yet being able to get off the mark, but today looks like a good opportunity to do that with a couple of runs now under her belt after a lengthy break.
Decider lines up in Bath’s 8.40 race and is big at 14/1 (15.00) with Bet365. Its a tricky looking race, but those odds make some appeal as the veteran gelding is now 7lbs below his last winning mark and the same as his last winning turf mark, which admittedly came on firm ground. The 3lb claimer on board is also a boost.
