The weather has played havoc with our daily horse racing tips of late, ensuring plenty of non-runners, but we’re hopeful of getting some runs for our money today. We’ve two confident selections, plus our usual longshot tip, who will today be partnered by Ryan Moore and is currently a best price of 15.00 (14/1) with William Hill.
Longshot of the day:
Newmarket 4.40 – Solemn @ 15.00 (14/1) with William Hill
The first of our daily horse racing tips comes in the 3.45 at Doncaster, where Ariyfa could be overpriced at @ 6.50 (11/2) with Coral. Noel Quinlan’s filly is incredibly consistent, with a string of 1s and 2s by her name and although she’s yet to tackle out-and-out soft ground, her career best effort came last time out on Good to Soft.
Our second tip is Reggie Perrin in Epsom’s 7.20 race. The four year old’s mark is unchanged after his second place finish last time out, which came over today’s course and distance. The ground was much better that day, but the geldng also has form on softer ground, so there are no worries there. The 4.5 (7/2) on offer with Totesport looks to be a nice price.
Our outside bet of the day is Milton Bradley’s Solemn, who seems too big at a current best price of 15.00 (14/1) with William Hill. The seven year old is up 7lbs for his soft ground win at the start of June, a rise which no doubt accounts for his big price today, but he wasn’t disgraced off the same mark last time out and could run a big race at a big price.
