Although one of Tuesday’s free horse racing tips was a non-runner, we did score with Same Difference; a 5/1 (6.00) chance when we recommended the Nigel Twiston-Davies gelding last night. With that, we are three from three for the week so far and we’re looking to add to the winners on Wednesday January 9th! Our longshot tip of the day is a 25/1 chance with Bet365 overnight and goes at Lingfield. Read on for full details of our great horse racing tips!
6.40 Kempton – Glastonberry @ 11/8 (2.38) with Paddy Power
7.10 Kempton – Vale Of Lingfield @ 13/2 (6.50) with Bet365
Longshot of the day:
3.45 Lingfield – Sherjawy @ 25/1 (25.00) with Bet365
Glastonberry is the first of our horse racing tips for Wednesday January 9th and she’s sure to be a popular selection in this race, the 6.40 at Kempton. The five year old mare has been running consistently well of late, with form figures of 1321 since a return from a lengthy absence. That last time out success looks especially good too, since the second place horse (beaten three lengths that day) was narrowly beaten a few days back in slightly better company, finishing second by a head. I can’t see her failing in this and the current price of 11/8 (2.38) with Paddy Power could look big by the end of the race.
In the 7.10 at Kempton, I like the look of John Best’s gelding Vale Of Lingfield, currently rated a 13/2 (6.50) chance with Bet365. Despite still being a maiden after nine races, I make the four year old the second of of our free racing tips for Wednesday January 9th as there have been clear signs of improvement in his last two races. If he can reproduce his course and distance effort of two outings ago, he’s sure to be on the premises here; the winner that day has won again twice since then and at the current odds, I think he makes plenty of appeal.
In the 3.45 at Lingfield, Sherjawy looks to be a ridiculous price overnight, currently rated a 25/1 (25.00) shot with Bet365. It may have been a while since the nine year old gelding last got his head in front, but he’s 22lbs lower since that result back in March 2011 (which came over course and distance, incidentally) and he always seems to go well here. Kirsty Milczarek is a useful jockey who knows the horse well and I won’t be at all surprised if the selection springs a surprise at huge odds.
