David Bridgwater Free Horse Racing TipsAfter a cracking Monday that saw us land a 29/1 double – including Andrew Balding’s Sweet Liberta (advised at 7/1) – as well as a place for our Each-Way outside bet, we’re back with more free horse racing tips for Tuesday January 8th. David Bridgwater (pictured) trains one of them, an interesting 14/1 (15.00) chance with Ladbrokes.

Recommended bets:
2.10 Leicester – Same Difference @ 5/1 (6.00) with Paddy Power

3.25 Wolverhampton – Hazza The Jazza @ 3/1 (4.00) with BetVictor

Longshot of the day:
1.55 Chepstow – Electric Tiger @ 14/1 (15.00) with Ladbrokes

The first of Tuesday’s horse racing tips is Same Difference in the 2.10 at Leicester. The seven year old is now just 3lbs higher than when last winning in April, having had six months off the track and two unremarkable runs since. These are responsible for the fall in the handicap mark but they’ll also see that the gelding is in perfect shape for today’s six runner affair on softer ground (which he handles just fine). I’m prepared to give him a chance today at generous odds of 5/1 (6.00) with Paddy Power, due to a nice piece of form behind recent Cheltenham winner Highland Lodge.

Hazza The Jazza is the second of our free horse racing tips for January 8th, running in the 3.25 at Wolverhampton. This three year old gelding shed his maiden tag over course and distance at the turn of the year, before showing further improvement to defy a hike in the handicap. He’ll shoulder a penalty today, but that will be offset by 5lb claimer Jason Hart and he can complete the hat trick today. The current price of 3/1 (4.00) with BetVictor looks pretty tempting.

Our bigger priced Each-Way tip for Tuesday 8th January runs in the 1.55 at Kempton. David Bridgwater’s Electric Tiger is currently a 14/1 (15.00) shot with Ladbrokes and that could be on the large side. The gelding hasn’t set the world alight yet but hasn’t been disgraced in defeat either, and he looks open to improvement stepping up in trip to 3m for the first time in this race. He goes well enough on softer ground, so that won’t be an issue, and I can see a potential surprise here.
