Our “longshot” horse racing betting tips have been red hot of late – in the past five days, we’ve tipped up a winner at 16/1 (SP), plus three further placed horses at SPs 16/1, 25/1 and 16/1! Find out what we fancy at a big price on Wednesday July 24th – as well as the rest of our horse racing betting tips, one of which will be partnered by Kirsty Milczarek (pictured) – by reading on…
4.10 Lingfield – Duchess of Gazeley @ 11/2 (6.50) with Paddy Power
8.50 Leicester – Petrify @ 7/2 (4.50) with Bet365
Longshot of the day:
4.30 Catterick – Lady Kildare @ 12/1 (13.00) with Bet365
Duchess of Gazeley is too big a price at 11/2 (6.50) overnight with Paddy Power, so I’m making her the first of our recommended horse racing betting tips for Wednesday July 4th. The three year old filly ran a really eye catching race when winning over course and distance last time out having clearly been suited by the step up in trip. The 2nd and 3rd that day both ran with credit next time out so the form looks solid, and I’m not convinced that a 6lb hike in the handicap is going to prevent a double here.
Luca Cumani’s Petrify is the second of Wednesday’s horse racing betting tips, running in the 8.50 at Leicester. Judging by the way he finished the race last time out under today’s jockey Kirsty Milczarek, the three year old could do with a greater test of stamina so this trip should suit him much better. He could be well treated on his handicap debut off a mark of 60 and the current best price of 7/2 (4.50) with Bet365 looks of interest given that the favourite’s good form has all taken place on the All Weather, which isn’t guaranteed to translate to the turf.
Our longshot Each-Way tips have been doing terrifically well of late with a 16/1 (SP) winner and three places at SPs of 16/1, 25/1 and 16/1, all in the past five days. Today it’s all about the 4.30 at Catterick where we’ve picked out Lady Kildare, currently a 12/1 (13.00) overnight chance with Bet365 (and I won’t be surprised to see bigger prices in the morning). I’m guessing that the generous odds are based solely on her last two efforts, which I admit have been dismal, but the phrase “horses for courses” clearly applies to this five year old mare whose five efforts at the Yorkshire venue have produced form figures of 32192. She is currently 9lbs lower than her last winning mark and I’m hoping that the return to Catterick will see her return to her best form, at a juicy price.
