Yesterday’s free horse racing betting tips produced a 9/2 (5.50) winner as well as a place for our Each-Way longshot selection. Check out our tips for Sunday July 21st; amongst them is an 11/1 (12.00) chance with BetVictor that we’re pretty keen on, as well as a 5/1 (6.00) shot (pictured) that runs in the Group 2 Kilboy Estate Stakes over in Ireland…
3.45 Curragh – Fiesolana @ 5/1 (6.00) with Boylesports
3.50 Newton Abbot – Castlemorris King @ 5/1 (6.00) with Bet365
Longshot of the day:
4.45 Curragh – Dick Bos @ 11/1 (12.00) with BetVictor
The first of today’s horse racing betting tips goes in Ireland’s Kilboy Estate Stakes (3.45 at the Curragh). Fiesolana (pictured) is a consistent filly and she looks generously priced early this morning, at odds of 5/1 (6.00) with Boylesports. With four wins and a second from her five career efforts, including a pair of Group 3 successes in her last two outings, she’s done everything that’s been asked of her so far and she looks as though she is still on an upward curve. On pedigree, today’s extra furlong should be of no concern and although it’s a step up to Group 2 company, I don’t see too much in the field to be concerned with.
Just five minutes later in the 3.50 at Newton Abbot, the second of our horse racing betting tips for Sunday July 21st will be in action. Castlemorris King, currently rated a 5/1 (6.00) chance with Bet365, is a horse in form having only finished outside of the front two once in his last seven starts (a last time out third place having stepped up in class). He was staying on well towards the end of that race which suggests he’ll enjoy today’s extra distance and at the current prices, I think he rates as value in what looks to be a wide open event.
The 4.45 at Curragh is the 23 runner Rockingham Handicap, which features the David O’Meara trained Dick Bos. The four year old gelding is in good form of late; he ran with credit last time out in a similar sort of race at this course, finishing fourth of 30 runners, while his two races prior to that resulted in a first and a second. Although he’s yet to try the minimum trip, the way he travels in his races over 6f suggests he’ll be capable of dropping down a furlong and at a current best price of 11/1 (12.00) with BetVictor, I think he looks too big. That’s why I’m putting him up as Sunday’s longshot Each-Way selection.
