Yesterday’s horse racing betting tips produced an 8/1 winner (SP, advised 11/1) and we’re hopeful for more success today. We’ve lined up a couple of strong fancies from Nottingham and Carlisle, plus a filly that looks like a value Each-Way play at this morning’s odds of 12/1 (13.00) with Bet365. Read on for the full story on this and all of our racing tips for Tuesday August 13th…
4.45 Carlisle – True Pleasure @ 7/2 (4.50) with Ladbrokes
6.35 Nottingham – Montjess @ 4/1 (5.00) with Paddy Power
Longshot of the day:
3.15 Carlisle – Kirtling Belle @ 12/1 (13.00) with Bet365
The first of Tuesday’s horse racing betting tips is True Pleasure in the 4.45 at Carlisle. The six year old mare is in good form of late, winning on her first trip to this course three outings ago (over a furlong further than today’s trip) and following up with another victory at Ayr (over today’s trip). Her last time out effort under a penalty (back up in trip) was a tad disappointing but off today’s revised mark and dropped back to a mile, she can bring betpal followers true pleasure at a best price this morning of 7/2 (4.50) with Ladbrokes.
Montjess is currently available to back at 4/1 (5.00) with Paddy Power to win the 6.35 at Nottingham, and this looks a good price to me. Tom Dascombe’s three year old filly went down by the narrowest of margins last time out to a horse that has since gone on to win again. That is a useful piece of form that suggests she is about to win a race of this nature and while the favourite won last time out, he will have to concede plenty to our selection who runs off a featherweight today. She looks the value play and that’s why I’m putting her up as the second of our horse racing betting tips for Tuesday August 13th.
Our bigger priced Each-Way selection for Tuesday is Kirtling Belle, who looks too big a price at current best odds of 12/1 (13.00) with Bet365 to win the 3.15 at Carlisle. The selection hasn’t set the racing world ablaze just yet, but her last time out second to a gelding that has come out and won again since suggests that she might run better today than the bookmakers seem to think. With eight runners in the race we can back the Keith Dalgleish trained filly Each-Way and at the current price, we’d be happy enough with place money.
