Amongst our horse racing betting tips for Tuesday April 29th is a Cheltenham Festival runner-up, currently priced at a generous 5/1 (6.00) with Boylesports, plus a Mark Johnston trained three year old who rates a great value Each-Way punt. Read on for Tuesday’s racing tips…
Horse racing betting tip of the day:
5.30 Punchestown – Hidden Cyclone
Current odds: 5/1 (6.00) with Boylesports
3.05 Yarmouth – Crowdmania
Current odds: 11/1 (12.00) with BetVictor
Ryanair Chase runner-up Hidden Cyclone looks a terrific bet to win the Boylesports.com Champion Chase (the 5.30 at Punchestown) at a juicy 5/1 (6.00) with the race sponsors. The nine year old gelding is a consistent sort, but versatile too, having won his fair share of races over hurdles and fences and at a variety of trips. Placed in plenty of big races in the past six months (Paddy Power Gold Cup 3rd, 2nd in a Grade 1 chase in Ireland, 2nd in the Clarence House and of course, 2nd at the Cheltenham Festival) I am confident he can go one better today.
Our bigger priced Each-Way tip for Tuesday April 29th goes in the 3.05 at Yarmouth, where Mark Johnston’s Crowdmania looks a massive price overnight at odds of 11/1 (12.00) with BetVictor. The three year old gelding has been in great form in 2014, with figures of 21110. That disappointing last time out effort came when pushed right up in grade over an inadequate trip, but stepping back up to mile (where his figures read 21) and dropping from class 2 to class 4 should bring out a return to something like his best form. A great Each-Way punt in my mind.
